Topo Chico

During my final semester at UNT, my capstone course focused on creating a campaign for the brand Topo Chico. Together we created a Summer 2021 campaign for the Southwest region of the U.S. that focused on targeting 24 to 34 year old singles. As college seniors, my team members and I fell very closely or right into the target market of the campaign and had a lot of fun working on this throughout the semester. 

 

I took the role of team copywriter and crafted copy for the plans book along with the ads themselves. Our goal was to create a campaign that embodied the Topo Chico brand while giving it a cool, vintage spin. After conducting research, we knew that Topo Chico drinkers are part of a community. The overall aesthetic was important to them, so we went for a retro feel while emphasizing the mindset associated with drinking Topo Chico.
